Planet Earth III

The episodic art work for the third instalment of the iconic BBC Natural History Franchise needed to
feel like it belonged in the family while also bringing a fresh approach for the launch. We settled on using
the monolithic ‘III’ to frame the featured animals from each episode. Creating a window into their world.
I was responsible for the concepting and initial art direction and devised the idea of allowing the animals
to break out of the windows as if moving through space which captured the energy and movement of this
living ecosystem.
